Road Run PM Beth Walser
I have been a member of the Minneapolis Jaycees for 5 and half years. During that time I have held various board positions including State Delegate, Management VP and Chapter President.
In my free time you will more than likely find me on my bicycle, brewery hoping around Minneapolis with friends or riding dirt trails somewhere remote. I also enjoy going to concerts and traveling anywhere and everywhere.
I’m Sheena Ziegler the JCI Minnesota program manager for the Junior Jaycees. My Jaycee career started only a short year ago officially however I have participated in many Brainerd Jaycee events over the last 10 years. The Brainerd Jaycees took me in and had faith in me to begin the Brainerd Junior Jaycees in 2015. With success I now find myself as a state PM.
When I am not working on Jaycee stuff, I am a mother of 3 beautiful boys. I am a student at Central Lakes College working on an A.A.S in special education and American Sign Language. I love hanging out with my family and friends.
I joined the Brainerd Jaycees 2006 Offices held are secretary, treasurer, president and chairman of the board. Chapter projects chaired are 4th of July corn feed, Halloween spectacular, 5k jingle bell run, co-chaired Street Fest on Seventh. Founded the Brainerd Junior Jaycees in 2015
I am married to Shane Meyer since 2006. We have Three-ish children; Olivia 13, Mason 11 and Shayn 9 along with our foreign exchange student Bernadette 16. We have our fantastic fur babies; Buster, Barley, Buddy and Banjo. I am part time student at CLC, graduating in May in Business Management with an additional certificate diploma in Entrepreneurship.
The best part of being apart of our amazing organization is that at the end of the day our world is a little better because of the time and talent that runs through our members. To watch these things unfold is blowing and awe inspiring all at the same time. Contact PM Carissa anytime.

Now that we have a few months under our belts, and with so many awesome projects and events planned for Spring and Summer, it’s time to get invite others to be a part of our amazing organization!
With a goal of 500 new JCI Minnesota members this year, we have 459 to go. This may seem daunting, though it’s completely realistic. You have the power to inspire others, and it might be a bit easier than you imagine.
I encourage each of you to take 5 minutes and write out your JCI/Jaycees story. Some questions you might entertain: Why did you join? What kept you around? What do you hope for the future? How has your personal and/or professional life improved since you have joined? What about the JCI/Jaycees experience is meaningful and fulfilling to you?
Now, go share this! Post it on Facebook and other social media. Share it with your chapter members. Most importantly, share it with those who are not (yet) members of this amazing organization that has impacted your life in such positive, great ways.
Share your story. Invite others to start their own JCI/Jaycees story. Good luck and don’t forget to reach out! I’m an email or phone call away!
